I was thinking about what to have for dinner. One of my green steps has been to order food locally. On the Isle of Wight, Horringford Gardens deliver boxes of mostly locally grown vegetables, fruit and meat from an Island Butcher. I take great pleasure in not buying these things from the local big supermarket which has huge customer base here. I like the idea that my money is going to a local business rather than a huge, impersonal, faceless supermarket.
